The location was fabulous, with beautiful surroundings and a tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cottage itself had everything we needed, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice garden area to enjoy the sunshine. We also loved the friendly horses and the opportunity to explore the farm and its surroundings. One of the best parts was the delicious freshly baked treats that awaited us upon arrival, they really put a smile on our faces.

One thing that could be improved is the lack of coat pegs. It would have been helpful to have a few more to hang our coats and jackets.

The location of this beautiful cottage is perfect for a tranquil getaway, surrounded by stunning fields and a private lake for fishing. The cottage itself offers comfortable and clean rooms, with very comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The friendly hosts go above and beyond, welcoming guests with homemade treats and offering helpful tips for exploring the Lincolnshire countryside. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery make it an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday.

Although the cottage provides a country feel and all the necessary amenities, there is a limited amount of plug points in each room, requiring the use of wire extensions for charging multiple devices.

Lovely country cottage with all the amenities needed for a family stay. Beautiful surroundings, including a private fishing lake and friendly horses. Cakes on arrival were a delicious treat.

Just the inconvenience of not having enough coat pegs. Really, who needs more than two coats anyway?

I had a fabulous stay in a beautiful countryside cottage. The location was slightly remote, but perfect for unwinding and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The cottage had all the home comforts, including comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts were welcoming and even left homemade cakes and tea/coffee as a lovely touch. The private lake and gardens were a peaceful retreat, and there was even an onsite fishing opportunity. the cottage was a perfect location for a relaxing getaway with plenty of activities nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming countryside cottage. The homemade cakes and tea/coffee provided upon arrival were a lovely touch and made us feel very welcomed. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The on-site fishing was a great activity for the boys, and they were thrilled when they finally caught a fish. The location of the cottage was perfect for unwinding and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The private lake, beautiful fields, and nearby steam train station added to the charm of our stay.

While our stay was mostly enjoyable, we did have a couple of minor concerns. The seal on the shower screen over the bath was a bit troublesome.

The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the welcome gift of scones and cookies was a thoughtful touch. The cottage was spacious and perfect for a family vacation. We loved the atmosphere of peace and tranquility and enjoyed evening walks around the lake and pond. The owners were professional and lovely, and the home baked cakes and milk in the fridge were a wonderful touch. The location was great, with a close beach and restaurants only 20 minutes away, and a shop about 2 miles away.

The main double bed mattress was a bit too soft for our preference. We also had some difficulty getting the overall warmth in the cottage to our preferred level, but clearer instructions on the wall heater settings would have been helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this tranquil cottage. The location is slightly remote, but with a car, you can easily reach nearby shops in just 5-7 minutes. The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and has a lovely garden and a private lake for fishing. The cottage itself had three comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts, Pat and Cheryl, were incredibly welcoming and even baked delicious cakes and cookies for us. The highlight for me was the peacefulness of the private lake and the opportunity to see the friendly horses and owls on-site. it was an excellent property for a relaxing getaway.

    Liked everything! 👍
